How to Install a Roof Rack on Your Kia DIY in 6 Easy Steps

- Make sure the rack's attachment points can lie flush: clean your ride's roof.
- Loosen the screws on all the foot mounts just enough so the crossbars can fit between the mounts.
- Put the crossbars between the mounts, measure the correct width between them, and tighten them firmly into place.
- Attach both the rack's pads to its mounts and its caps to its crossbars.
- Center the rack on your vehicle's roof and position the front away from the top of the windshield.
- Lock and tighten the front foot mounts in place on the rim of your car doors (using metal clips, if any are included.
