How to Install a Roof Rack on Your Kia DIY in 6 Easy Steps

1. Make sure the rack's attachment points can lie flush: clean your ride's roof.
2. Loosen the screws on all the foot mounts just enough so the crossbars can fit between the mounts.
3. Put the crossbars between the mounts, measure the correct width between them, and tighten them firmly into place.
4. Attach both the rack's pads to its mounts and its caps to its crossbars.
5. Center the rack on your vehicle's roof and position the front away from the top of the windshield.
6. Lock and tighten the front foot mounts in place on the rim of your car doors (using metal clips, if any are included.
